- Testing and characterizing high-resolution CMOS-based ASICs (application-specific integrated circuits), high-speed embedded systems and architectures for products based on high-resolution microelectrode arrays.
- Design (schematics, layout) and implementation of test tools for ASICs and various electronics (sub-)systems to further improve the quality of 3Brain’s products.
- Design and implementation of test systems, both for R&D and production characterization.
- Microcontroller programming to operate and control peripheries and sub-systems with Microcontrollers, and to create “intelligent” test systems.
- Stress-test electronics and mechanical systems for functionality, robustness, reliability and quality.
- Participate in product development by emphasizing testability, features and functions.
- Supporting product-life cycle management (i.e. new revisions, new releases, etc.).
- Expert support of the electronics R&D and production team.
- BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of professional experience.
- Perseverance and tenacity to investigate electronical and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of analog electronics (Simulation, Schematics, Layout).
- Understanding of high-speed digital design (Schematics, Layout).
- Microcontroller programming.
- Good practical and industrial experience, combined with practical/manual skills.
- Prototyping and testing.
- Initiative, independent and ability to communicate and work effectively with other team members in a multicultural and international environment.
- Fluency in English
